Godwin Tugume has over 15 years of experience in Human Resource Management and Administration. His experience includes recruitment and selection, organizational restructuring, organizational development interventions, HR Policy formulation and reviews, development of Organizational structures, HR planning, HR information management, performance management, Capacity building and Exit management.

Godwin holds an MA in Management studies, (Human Resource Management), Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management both from Uganda Management Institute and a BA in Social sciences from Makerere University.

Godwin is currently serving as the Principle Human Resource Officer at the Uganda Heart Institute. Prior to that, he served as the Senior Human Resource Officer at the Office of the President, Directorate for Ethics and Integrity where he was responsible for implementation of HR policies, regulations and best practices. Godwin also has significant experience having served as in senior HR positions in Public Service Institutions for over 10 years.

Godwin possesses solid experience in developing subordinates, teams and organizations in the Public and NGO sectors. He recently participated in a USAID funded programme for Strengthening Human Resources for Health projects.
